Plastic bag pastel marble

Hello, hello!  This is a technique I've been wanting to try for a few weeks now and I finally had the time today to try and do it.  It's super simple, I can't believe I didn't try it sooner.

I started with a base coat of Essie Sugar Daddy.  It's a nice light peachy cream.  Very pretty on it's own but I wanted to kick it up a bit so I decided to do the baggy marble. For that I used Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet, Sally Hansen Sorbet, Essie Bikini so Teeny, and OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender.

All you do is add a drop or two of each color over the base coat.  Then you just press a part of a baggy over the top.  That's it!  It's kinda messy as the above photo shows, but well worth the time it takes to clean up.

Not too bad for a first attempt, eh?
One of these days I'm going to figure out lighting and proper camera settings.  :)  Until then, enjoy these crappy pics!  Hehe

  2. For those "messy" manicure techniques I use a generous coat of petrolleum jelly on my cuticles before starting. So, when I'm done and it comes to cleaning: it's really easy to get the excess polish off my fingers and plus my cuticles like the treatment too!
P.S.works like a charm for doing your toes too
